Top Gutters
Top gutters are a key component of the roll-up door’s framing structure. They prevent water from running into the compartment or dripping onto the operator during use. The top gutter also incorporates a retainer for a top gutter seal designed to mate with a top landing seal when the door is in the closed and secure position. AMDOR offers two top gutter models. Our standard is a 2” gutter with seal. We also offer an optional 6” Extended Top Gutter which may be used in place of a traditional header and can accommodate top gutter drops ranging from 1” to 5”. The Extended 6” top gutter provides additional flexibility and may save the builder time and labor during construction. Both models are available in an optional continuous top gutter configuration where one top gutter may be used above a series of adjacent doors.
